In accordance with our wish to offer foreign artists the possibilty of working and exhibiting in Denmark, we offer an artist residency between 1. November to the 1. March.

Our residencies are by invitation only and are based on projects directly applied to KANT or to relevant partners collaborating with the artist. The length of the residencies depend on the artists project.

We endevour to comply with the responsibilities and obligations stipulated by the Danish Arts Council´s DIVA Programme.

Our goal is to assist in developing the artist´s career socially and professionally. We therefore assist in bridging the gap to Danish collegues, institutions and the general public.

The residency is in connection with our gallery on the island Fanø, and offers a 50 m2 selfcontained appartment with access to a 70 m2 work studio.
